ok, so it's 28 degrees outside right now. throughout this week it has been getting hotter and hotter, right? this weekend is supposed to be the mother of all hot-ness in the lower mainland. to us, it's as close to desert-like as we can possibly get without actually having to be in the desert :P i can't even imagine being in europe right now where temperatures are approaching 40 degrees! yikes!
on the skytrain the past few days, i have seen ppl wearing the most ridiculous things. it's pretty safe to leave your taiga jackets at home ppl! i don't think we're gonna get some crazy rainstorm in the middle of the day! i also don't understand ppl who have layered their clothes. i think a t-shirt/tank top and a cover-up are more than enough - i can understand that sometimes air-conditioned environments can get chilly, but do you really need a sweatshirt on top of that? put your ugg boots away, girls! bring on the flip-flops and strappy sandals!
