while we were at the bay, we looked at sofas, since we're in the market for one. we sat on, reclined in, and looked at pretty much all the sofas they had to offer. 2 seaters, 3 seaters, oversized arm chairs, sofa beds, recliners, everything under the (now-absent) sun! we had vic with us, so we tested out the smaller 3 seat couches, just to see how squishy we were. after all that testing, we ended up putting a 2 seater sofa/recliner on hold. the colour doesn't really match our condo, so we've pretty much ruled it out, but chris REALLY liked it. now we're back at square one, and we're going to shop around a bit more. here is our criteria if anyone out there can help us out......
- max. 73 inches in length (2 or 3 seater)
- firm, not too soft
- prefer chocolate brown, beige or black
- bonus if it reclines like a lazy boy
- leather-like or microfibre (we're not fussy)
- extra bonus if it costs less than $1,000

geez, you really rack up the posts...i'm lucky if i can post once a day.
we found our sofa (actually, it was the armchair that we saw first) at the home design show at bc place. we got it at ginger jar interiors in n van. same quality as inspiration, but they frequently have 25% off sales. i think they might be priced higher than $1000. good selection though.
yup, i'm a blogging freak! apparently i have a lot to say. this whole blogging thing is great, cuz i can get everything off my chest here, and not necessarily bore the same ppl at work w/my ramblings :)
