it has arrived

what is IT, you ask? well, IT is our reclining loveseat. after many blogs and discussions about our sofa, chris and his dad picked IT up today from the bay. after unwrapping IT and putting IT into IT's proper home, i can't decide what i think of IT anymore. IT fits nicely by the window, and the colour almost matches our wall colour, IT's comfy for the two of us, and IT reclines. so why do i still feel mixed about IT? perhaps because IT only seats two ppl. or perhaps because IT makes our place look a little bit smaller. it's weird though because i sat on the right side of IT, and IT's exactly where the poang was, and even when IT's 1/2-way reclined, IT's still in the exact same spot as the poang was. but still something about IT feels different.

i think it's because we've gone from having a massively huge sofa to something for the two of us. chris will no longer be able to sleep on the couch after volleyball (mind you, he has slept on the bean bag "chair" a few times), we can no longer stretch out and watch tv like we used to. whatever IT is, i'm sure i'll get used to IT.

whatever. it's a new loveseat. it smells news. it's a new day.

added 3/6/06 - so, i was wrong about chris sleeping on it. he already slept on it yesterday afternoon. all i can think of is how comfy the sofa is and i wish i were reclining on it right now :(
